Work History

Systems Engineer

Lockheed Martin - Space
06.2021 - Current
  • Maintain sustainability for critical systems at a satellite processing facility, ensuring mission processing requirements are met to support mission flow.
  • Involved in various mission processing operations, including hazardous crane satellite vehicle lifts and mates, critical launch vehicle fairing lifts, ground support equipment lifts, and offload/transportation of spacecraft shipping containers.
  • Actively employing technical writing ability by improving operations and maintenance procedures for the 50-ton high bay cranes to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Provided specifications and submittal reviews, performed RCM analysis, baseline drawing and documentation updates on a newly installed 50-ton crane at the EPF.
  • Leading a project management role to integrate new drawings and documentation updates to the baseline across many engineering disciplines to meet customer requirements.

Mechanical Engineering Intern

Lockheed Martin - Space
05.2019 - 05.2021
  • Performed heat transfer/fluid analysis on various buildings to conceptualize designs for efficient air handling unit
  • Presented analysis results to government customers with the intentions of receiving funding
  • Analyzed current status of Maximo software and communicated/employed methods of process optimization
  • Managed internal shipping orders through Maximo for various mission critical equipment in the Eastern Processing Facility.

  • Maximo
  • CMstat
  • SolidWorks (CSWA certified)
  • AutoCAD
  • MatLab
  • Mathcad

Projects

  • Oxygen Monitoring Recapitalization: Performed a full replacement of outdated oxygen monitors located at the Eastern Processing Facility. Created thorough project work orders with accurate estimations of work to be performed, and found solutions to depict an accurate project schedule to work around mission constraints. Upon project completion, successfully implemented drawing redlines and procedural updates to reflect baseline changes. Received an award for finding efficiencies and saving the customer over $20,000 and hundreds of man hours.
  • SAE Micro UAV Competition (Senior Design, UCF): Led the structures team with design choices and worked within a budget of $800, sponsored by Lockheed Martin. Designed the fuselage and nose cone assemblies in SolidWorks and performed FEA analysis of these components in ANSYS. Presented status updates on the UAV in bi-weekly Lockheed Martin meetings. Won 1st place in the competition, carrying the most weight in the fuselage and having the longest flight duration.

Certification
