  • As a tattooed dermatologist, I am uniquely positioned to bridge the gap between a global tattooed community and the most appropriate medical/dermatologic skin care practices pertaining to that unique population.
  • InkMD is a novel approach to deliver medical-grade skin care to improve outcomes. It represents a "first-in-the-industry" and an amalgamation of two previously-distinct worlds.
  • I created the first company to put "dermatologist-recommended" on the label of a tattoo care product. The products are designed to improve the wound-healing process, artwork outcomes and reduce the risk of many avoidable complications.
  • I learned to navigate business elements that include raising capital, branding, production, operations, logistics/fulfillment, e-commerce, marketing, finance, etc.
  • I grew a team of dedicated, passionate, and selfless people who are as excited and passionate as I am to be a part of something transformative.
  • As the FDA begins to examine and regulate all aspects of tattooing, I volunteer with the Alliance of Professional Tatttooists, as their sole dermatologist, with the goal of establishing evidence-based and meaningful regulation within the industry.
  • InkMD will continue to evolve by understanding and appreciating the unique concerns, complications, and needs of the tattooing industry and the tattooed community as a whole.

  • Recognize and address the alarmingly high incidence, prevalence, morbidity, and mortality that melanoma has in the state of Colorado.
  • Build a 501-c3 non-profit from the ground up by engaging people with diverse skills, all dedicated to lowering the impact melanoma has in Colorado.
  • Reduce the disease burden of melanoma in the state by offering free community screenings, patient advocacy, local research funding, educational events, etc. all where needed most.
  • Introduce the SunBus, a mobile dermatologic screening RV that brings melanoma and skin cancer surveillance to individuals and communities without easy/affordable access to care.
