Tyrus Harmer

As a high school student I have always pushed myself and my interests to the maximum of my capabilities. I have always striven to learn new things in life, so that one day I will have all the skills I need to make anything I want (or at least that's the idea). As a janitor for several years I learned just how much of a difference what we surround our selves with can effect our future, and that's why I strive for self improvement both intellectually (my rigorous classes), physically ( I plan to compete in my first bodybuilding competition in June 2024 after 2 and 1/2 years of hard work, and spiritually in my LDS church. This year, I am exited to leverage my passions and values though an applicable internship opportunity and my upcoming capstone project. The project aims to explore the potential of recycling cured resin as a 3D printer filament filler, and to use applicable knowledge of engineering practices and work flow I hope to acquire through internships.
