  • Oversee a total of 30+ employees
  • Successfully schedule, maintain, followed up on, and track accuracy of all work orders entered through SOMAX
  • Trained multiple new supervisors in my role and duties following my promotion to general foreman-supervisor moving to day shift
  • New responsibilities added included majority of the maintenance planning, coordinating with contractors on all outside work, procuring bids for future projects
  • Took on the parts room management in order to ensure proper ordering and on hand supply as well as budget control
  • Tracking all plant down time, finding the mechanical issues associated, and preparing and providing a collective solution to minimize future down time
  • Attendance of daily meetings with each area of management to review and address all the different areas of the plant’s issues, concerns, events, etc. to include root cause analysis for each
  • Daily walk through assessments of entire plant and all key machinery as well as communicating with all associates and mechanics with their individual concerns, questions, or repairs
  • Currently handle all mechanics schedules, time off, and hours ensuring coverage for all shifts
  • I attend bi-annual training to help ensure growth in myself to keep me at a top performing leader in this ever-changing industry.

  • Duties also included supervision of the Waste Water dept
  • Handling all Vendors and Contractors, schedules, and all maintenance planning, budget, hiring/firing, further training, etc

  • Job duties were to trouble shoot and make repairs on machines in all areas of the plant, assisting the operators with the pm’s on their machines as needed, building, wiring and installation of new machines, machining of new custom parts on lathes end mills and other machining equipment and shop tools, and constructing and installation of OSHA compliant guards and safeties on all of the machines that had been in operation with no guarding in place
  • Worked on machines such as bullet presses, pierce and prime machines, anneals, and other case forming machines, as well as the lead shack and the laboratory where all of the ballistics take place.
