When I started working at Events D.C in 2019 , it was one of the most influential things that has happened to me. I have had a chance to work with some of the hardest working and knowledgeable people over the years. In a fast paced environment with event set ups containing 80 foot stages, 20,000 chairs, and 1500 banquet rounds. I personally took lead in a lot of these set ups . I learned our trade fast . As a new employee I was training our new associates when I was 6 months in. At the biggest convention center in Washington DC . Holding up a standard and using knowledge learned by working with some very experience individuals that are no longer with us. Who trained me throughly with knowledge that is not gone with them. Doing events like NATO , Congressional Black Caucus ,Congressional Spanish Caucus, The Auto Show and many more shows that were epic. I taken lead for many of these different shows over the years willingly most times. I personally set a standard with my work ethic. That's how I got employed at the Hilton by some of my former supervisors who knew how I worked. They started an overnight shift based on me and two of my coworkers. We do the work of 10 men and smile about it.
