• Little Milestones for Small Discoveries is where I first got my start working hands on with my leading OT Mrs.Latrenda. In this practice we worked with children from various backgrounds, socioeconomic, mental and physical disabilities. It is through this that I learned my love to work with children. In this practice I got to create and implement different games and crafts under the guidance of Mrs.Latrenda. These activities were personalized to each patient and what they wanted to work on that day. The flexibility allowed the patients to be a part of their treatment. It also allowed me to explore my own creativity by tailoring the activities to each child. This experience is what has inspired my desire to continue working with children and continue being part of the change for the patients.
