  • Carefully analyzed test results and information gathered during examinations to properly diagnose illnesses and diseases on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
  • Gained experience in the outpatient setting by seeing patients in the Internal Medicine Clinic as well as in various subspecialties including Cardiology, Nephrology, GI, Neurology, Pulmonology, Hematology/Oncology, Dermatology, Rheumatology, Endocrine and Infectious Disease.
  • Gained experience with basic medical floor work including phlebotomy, medical procedures for IV access, procedures such as Paracentesis, LP and Transvenous pacemakers to name a few.
  • Learned how to manage patients in the Cardiac critical care setting in addition to the Medical ICU.
  • Learned how to admit patients to the inpatient setting and differentiate between monitored care and routine inpatient care.
  • Received "Intern of the Month" for the Month of November in my PGY-1 year.
