Accomplishments

  • Collaborated with Vets Ed team on the development of a new database. Worked with outside vendor, programmers, on building a web based database from the ground up. Because of the complexity of the database, and the language barrier (foreign programmers) the project took a year to complete. As the needs of the department changed due to federal mandates as well as enhancements needed to streamline operational processes, my work with those same vendors continued for several years.
  • In my 14 year tenure with the Texas Veterans Commission, Vets Ed Department, all reports were submitted timely and accurately.
  • I was awarded the Texas Veterans Commission "Legacy" award for 2021.
