Summary

Started as a Financial Accounting position in banking and industrial industry. My desired to teach caused a career change. I believe all students can learn including myself! As a professional instructor/student, student’s levels are assessed to provide differentiated instructions to improve student growth on the Learning Continuum. Professional development, YouTube videos, books and other PDs provide from educational sources has improve professional expertise in commitment to enhance overall students’ growth by maintained positive productive interactions with students and parents. A love of teaching career has a wealth of experiences from 3rd grade one on one to high school for Juvenile Delinquents’. Started in the district teaching ELA, taught Math 6 through 8th regular and accelerated, and presently 7th grade Social Studies. This has been achieving through detail and goal oriented with individualize instructions for student deficits/gifted using technology educational platforms. (Example: Google Suits, Kahoot, IXL, and Study land.) Instructional lessons are designed to focuses on maximizing student learning potential through diverse instructional strategies and classroom management techniques. As a Social Studies Teacher with experience educating students on global and American ideals and cultural heritage. Generates student awareness of rights, liberties, and responsibilities as citizens. Explains concepts of government, geography, history, economics, civics, and current events. Develop lesson plans, assigns and grades exercises and encourages student participation during classroom activities. It is important to teach students the history of student education. Students’ conferences are used to keep students aware of their grades and goals for the school year. Each year is reflected on to improve students learning the following year. It is important as a professional to grow from success and failures. This year it was important to learn more about Remote Learning strategies.
