IT Technician II
Install new computer systems; join equipment to domains, update and maintain software procedures.
Create profiles, add users and equipment to network resources.
Load office professional products to include Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Coordinate with Network Administrator to configure workstations TCP/IP protocol for network connection.
Coordinate with Network Administrator to load workstation antivirus software.
Perform preventative maintenance of all departmental software and hardware.
Coordinate with Network Administrator on defining domain user names and passwords.
Coordinate with Network Administrator in defining security and user group rights.
Makes suggestions on improving security options when necessary.
Performs software application installation/upgrades.
Assist users in maximizing use of network and computing systems.
Coordinates and works closely with BFCU's third party processors to maintain optimum operating performance.
Assist with the development and planning of disaster recovery execution and implementation.
Assist Network Administrator with Phone configuration and installation.
Assist with surveillance and alarm system management and video.
Familiar with Active Directory and DHCP Services.
Provide remote assistance and travel to sites as needed.
Communicate effectively (written and oral).
Answer and respond to Help Desk issues, including post-resolution follow up and documentation.
