Sworn Probation and Parole Officer with 3 years of experience working with offenders, their families, and outside resources. Goal-oriented with skills in case management and collaborating with social service agencies for collaborative support.
I currently supervise a caseload of probationers and parolees. Duties include monitoring offenders in the community and formulating a plan with them to make them successful in the community, prepare reports for the Courts/Parole Board, testifying in Court, counsel offenders, and submit and act on arrest warrants. Some duties require field work in the community with offenders and their families. Other days require open communication with other agencies including substance abuse treatment facilities, mental health counselors, and other law enforcement agencies.
While employed at the Lebanon Aquatic Center, as a certified lifeguard, I supervised other employees and lifeguard both the indoor and outdoor pools when needed. Job duties included organized breaks, staffing all positions as required, and managing the concessions stand. I also organized and taught swim lessons and an aerobics class.

undefinedI am a recipient for the Director’s Award for the Central Region of Kentucky on April 16, 2020. I have recently discovered I was nominated for this award due to my compassion and above and beyond work ethic. Co-workers shared how touched they were when they overheard me working with an offender who could not read or write. I tried to refer this offender to the adult community center. However, he did not want to attend because he was afraid of the judgement he would receive from others. At that time I knew I had to go beyond my job duties, and help this offender. I reached out to a literacy teacher who gave me resources on teaching people how to read and write. This offender can now complete his report day sheet without assistance.
