My responsibility's where to do circle time with children age 3-5. During circle time we would do abcs, colors, number 1 through 50. Making them practice writing their name. Taking them outside during gross motor time. Calling role to ensure who was present and absent. Prepared cots for nap time. Prepared tables for lunch. Took them to bathroom for bathroom breaks. Would substitute in other classrooms when teacher would call off.
Would be in charge of opening business. Register students(customers) for the 6 hour course to get driving permit. Since this was a driving school to help customers get their driver's license. Would also schedule their appointments for the customer to go to the dmv to get their paper copy permit so they could come back to the business and take their driving test behind the wheel with an instructor. Arranging customer's appointments . Using power points by helping instructor add or edit to their plan they would be teaching in the 6 hour course. Using Excel to put appointments in so the driving instructor would know when and what time she had driving test to do. Handling different method payments from customers when paying for the class either cash or debit or credit.
Helping clients by telling them in what aisle items where located when they weren't able to find certain items. Also helping elderly people at the self checkout when they didn't want to go through the main checkout lines. Helping people who didn't know English translate from English to Spanish. My main responsibility was helping customers check out their produce. Not many fruits or vegetables had barcodes, I had to memorize various codes for each item.
Some days would be very busy but would always aim to handle it efficiently. At closing time I would count the money in my cash drawer to ensure it matched what I generated during my shift. At closing we would also put money that was like a atm machine which was where only workes would use to deposit closing shift money.
Welcoming customer's helping by cashing checks, selling lottery tickets,doing money wire transfers, making bank bags with money for garda to come pick up once a week. Would add minutes to customers phone numbers to make calls outside the Unites States. Would train new people who were hired. At the end of each shift I would have to print out reports of what was done during my shift. Their was goals we had to reach each month for almost every service we would provide in this office. Cleaning office up once office was closed for it to be clean for the next coworker to come in the next morning. Activating lottery tickets when inventory would come in.
The responsibility in this job was for me to open the store at 5am in the morning as it was a bakery had to make sure I had to stock up on the bread to make sure vanity was full of bread when customers started arriving at open time which was 6am. Also at closing shift we all had duties we would split one person would broom and the other on would mop. Bread had to be put away in a oven for next day and clean bathroom which we would switch in between days depending on who would close the night shift. Counting my money at the end of the shift to make sure my drawer was balanced with what was sold during my shift.
