I feel I would be a good fit to your company. I enjoy working and am willing to learn anything and everything concerning this position. I would be grateful for the opportunity. I've spent my life surrounded by the trades and Believe this Is the next step in my journey. Thank you for taking the time to look over my resume'.
I have worked 18 shutdowns and nearly 100 jobs during the years at Ford Motor Company for Safety First Resources and 4 shutdowns before working for Mr. Ballard.
My duties, in the beginning, we're performing orientations, checking drug cards and making badges for newly- hired contractors.
My main task was being on the floor during contracted labor or on the grounds while buildings were erected. Eventually I found that I liked being in the field rather than behind a desk.
I am exceedingly grateful for the opportunities provided by Ford KTP and Neil Ballard at Safety First Resources.
I retired as a Steel worker and welder in 2011 after 21 years in the field. I started as a welder in 1982 for my grandfathers Ironworks and iron working company then went on to work in steel yards and steel company's for the 21 years. My last steel job was located in the Clark Maritime Indiana as a lead man for a galvanizing plant, where we galvanized stadium and bridge tresses 40 ft long and 6 foot high. I was the only woman on this job. I also was a safety representative on this job. It ended on august 10th 2011. I began as a safety representative on my own on March 5, 2012 working at G.E. in Louisville Kentucky where I met my current employer Neil Ballard of Safety First Resources and he encouraged me to start my own firm.
I have my OSHA 10, 30 and 510. I received my 510 from Eastern Kentucky University.
