- Supervise a staff of 65 full-time employees and 39 seasonal employees. We provide tours and travel to area hotels and destination DC to visitors to the nation’s capital. The supervision for staff consists of new hire orientation, benefits administration, open season health insurance, I9 all levels of new hire support. Respond to any HR policies and procedures, update employee files. As we approach our busy season, starting with the Cherry Blossom parade which starts in February. I assign staff to which site to report, i.e., the mall or Arlington Cemetery. Actively engage area hotels and DC Public Schools, for all tour packages. We create group tours to New York City – Broadway, Las Vegas. Pre-Covid had monthly meet and greet socials. It is really a lot of fun watching people enjoy each other.
- Prepare pre-convention packet; provide guest and tour services, complete registration for conventions held in Washington Convention Center. Provided support to National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), working at the Las Vegas Convention Center. I work in member retention, renewing memberships, and enrolling new members. We take care of land and air, i.e., car, rentals, cabs, Uber, flights. We also have a contract with Airport Terminal Services (ATS) providing VIP services. License Tour, Site Management.
