• This committee is responsible for the overall planning of the event, including the budget, venue, guest list, guest RSVPs, and volunteer coordination.
• This committee sets the standard for the guest experience.
• This committee is responsible for securing entertainment and making sure the event runs smoothly.
• Helping to identify and secure potential sponsors
• Securing auction items
• Bringing people to the event
• Creating an event plan that includes goals, desired outcomes, and the event's theme
• Creating and agreeing on a funding plan that includes all estimated expenses
• Communicating regularly on the progress of subcommittees
• Tracking the progress of all committees on the day of the event

• Work with police chiefs and school districts to implement "Handle With Care".
• This software is free of cost to use and will be downloaded onto the officer's mobile computer.

1. The the officer is dispatched to a call and sees that the child present has witnessed

something traumatic, he/she will then enter the child's name, age, and school into the software. No other information will be included and will be sent directly to the child's school counselor and teachers.

2. The school will then "keep and eye out" for any changes seen in the child's behavior so that they can intervene and offer the right kind of counseling to therapy that the child might need. This may include extra bathroom breaks, help with schoolwork, extra accommodations with testing and assignments.

• Networking and fostering new leads to raise money for the United Way Capital Campaign's goal of $6.7M.
• The purpose of the Resource Development Committee (RDC) is to support and advance the fundraising and resource development efforts of UWATX.
• The RDC will work collaboratively with staff to identify, cultivate, and secure diverse funding sources to ensure the sustainability and growth of the organization. In conjunction with staff, the committee will focus on developing strategies, implementing initiatives, and engaging to maximize fundraising opportunities.
• Committee members will be asked to make two meaningful introductions every month. Introductions can be as simple as an email between the candidate and United Way Staff.
• Participate in meetings and provide ideas and suggestions on strategy, marketing, and engagement

I serve as a board member of the Jeremiah Program, which helps single moms earn college degrees and help prepare their children for school. My position is focused on fundraising, event planning, and exposure to cultural experiences.

• This year, I created their first ever annual "Game Night " gala. This included creating the name for the event "Full House of Hearts", designing the logo and print material, and finding sponsors.
