Duty Stations: Basic and advanced individual training in Chicago Stationed in Sicily Italy, and Colorado Springs, Colorado and El Paso, Texas. Combat deployment to, Afghanistan and Iraq.

Job Description: Operation, maintenance-support, and accountability of heavy equipment and military vehicles.

Service Roles: Served in various roles and duties that changed with duty stations and environments. While in Fort Carson, Colorado was primarily a heavy vehicle operator assigned to load and deliver supplies and other class 1.1 explosive ammunitions across the country as a part of tactical convoy operations.

Transferred to El Paso Texas in fall of 2010 During garrison operations I was responsible for the operation and maintenance of military vehicles as my primary job. Also specialized in operating heavy loading equipment including 10,000 lb extending-boom diesel forklifts and small unmanned aerial vehicles. Signed for and held accountable for over a million dollars of equipment and gear. Trained and lead junior soldiers within the unit, passing on my experience to them. Held responsible for management of 5-10 soldiers.

Attended and completed multiple military schools while at El Paso, Tx. Becoming a subject matter expert in helicopter sling load operations, small unmanned aerial vehicle operations, and convoy tactics and procedures while being deployed in Afghanistan.

Placed in charge of construction projects for my battalion and brigade during combat operations in Afghanistan and Iraq. Primary role as a truck driver in a convoy security element during Operation Enduring Freedom, protecting large convoys of thirty or more local national trucks and to oversee the loading and safety of high value military equipment and personnel. Assigned to a platoon that orchestrated security and logistical support in over 100 combat missions during a 12 month tour in Afghanistan.
