- Directly responsible for a staff of 106 Officers and 9 switchboard Operators/Dispatchers, and three Transporters.

- Security of 8 hospitals including a level 1trauma center, Level 2 Trauma Center, 1 Pediatric Hospital and Trauma Center and over 150 more Points of care, Pharmacies and land holdings.

- Oversee the implementation and yearly evaluation of the Security Management Plan.

- Responsible for the training, coaching, scheduling, disciplining and the administering of annual performance appraisals for each subordinate employee.

- Oversight accountability of all day-to-day operations within the department.

- Assist in operating budget.

- Completing risk assessments of every Hospital campus and Care points.

- Develop training to increase patient/staff safety and security awareness and reduce the risk of theft and safety issues by implementing Crime Prevention and Awareness programs.

- Member of the Environment of Care Council. IAHSS (International Association for Hospital Security and Safety) certified officer and Senior Member.

- Successfully prepared my regions to meet the Environment of Care standards for the Joint Commission by developing and writing policies and procedures.

- Instruction and training in dealing with combative and non-compliant patients, visitors and staff; de-escalating situations with common sense and excellent verbal communication skills.

- Responsible for the mechanical/electronic access control and surveillance systems, including the design and implementation of all new construction.

- Oversee and investigate all internal and criminal cases security scope and assist the law enforcement efforts within the System and partner agencies.
