I am currently a sophomore at Michigan State University, majoring in Public Relations with a minor in Advertising Analytics. My goal is to gain extensive hands-on experience to prepare for a career in the marketing field. During high school, I was actively involved in athletics, including field hockey, basketball, and softball. I dedicated four years to the varsity softball team, I was the captain my senior year, and also played travel softball. My participation in athletics helped me to develop valuable teamwork and leadership skills. In addition to my athletic pursuits, I was involved in Project Care. Our primary goal was to organize fundraisers to support various charities. This experience enhanced my commitment to community service and showed how effective marketing raises awareness for vital issues. I was also on the yearbook staff and in the National Honor Society. Since starting college, I have remained active and engaged on campus. I joined the Alpha Phi Sorority last fall and I plan to apply for a marketing position next year to utilize my skills in a leadership role. Also, I play on an intramural softball team and the MSU Club Field Hockey team, which helps me stay active and connect with others. Additionally, I am a member of the MSU Marketing Club and the Women in Entrepreneurship and Business Club, where I engage with my peers and explore opportunities for growth and development in the business world. Overall, my experiences have strengthened my skills and determination, which will prepare me for a career in marketing.
