Under the leadership of the Nursing Home Administrator, I have the skills and senior experience as an Assistant Nursing Home Administrator. Looking to provide clerical support to assist in the delivery of quality care to patients and families.
This involves clerical support activities which will facilitate the Patient Care Center operations including:

Surgical Health Technician is a team member of patient care providers performing direct patient care activities as well as in-direct patient care activities and related supportive. By using state of the art process models to identify, evaluate, recommend solutions to improve surgical skills administrative skills performance to support business goals and mission priorities. Provide advisory services to all levels of staff concerning basic program policies, regulatory, requirements, and procedures. Analyze and evaluate training programs and instructor performance making recommendations to our veterans to increase program quality and overall effectiveness.
Duties Include:
• Phlebotomy
• Perform EKG's
• Establish helpful relationships with patients and others
• Provide assistance with personal hygiene, bowel/bladder care, physical comfort and a clean and safe environment
• Perform, report, and document measurements, vital signs, intake/output, pulse oximetry,
• Experience using knowledge of oral communication techniques to present findings and recommendations and knowledge of written communication techniques to prepare medical records papers, and training material;
• Knowledge of and skill in applying principles, practices and techniques of education, veteran learning theory, define and meet individual learning needs;
• Assist patients with movement, positioning, ambulation, and transportation
• Identifies and reports obvious patient problems, symptoms, and behaviors
• Assist in emergency situations initiating CPR when indicated
• Maintains clean equipment and restocking supplies
• Provide appropriate direct patient care activities
• Ability to observe, perceive, use judgment, show initiative, and pay meticulous attention to detail;
• Applies knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, and medical terminology;
• Ability in performing phlebotomy routinely and EKG's;
• Responds to emergency situations related to environmental safety and CPR;
• Performs day-to-day operation of the office.
• Retains clinic and personnel records.
• Formulates and gathers information for medical record reports , for example: Vitals, EKG’S incident reports
• Greets patients and visitors.
• Monitors supplies and resources needed for surgical clinic.
• Assists with keeping apex outpatient examination outpatient clinic staff (RN, and Anesthesiologist) up to date of patient census and any changes or problems that might be encountered;
• Participates in performance improvement activities related to the apex outpatient examination outpatient clinic quality improvement process; and offers performance improvement advice to (RN, and Anesthesiologist)
As an Unit Medical Secretary lead and directed the overall operation of the facility in accordance with resident needs, federal and state government regulations and company policies/procedures so as to maintain quality care for the residents while achieving the facility’s business objectives.
