As a Delivery Associate for ODA I am responsible for delivering on average $7000 worth of goods from Amazon to customers in an Amazon van worth $70,000. In peak season (Late November to First Week of January) I am responsible for on average $10,000 worth of goods. Every shift I am tasked with navigating my assigned van to each stop on my route, It is ODA’s standard for a driver to complete at least 20 stops within an hour. An Associate is also responsible for sorting through packages, procuring the correct package(s) for the customer, dropping it off safely at the designated location, and capturing a photograph of the package as proof of delivery. While on the road Associates are also responsible for following all the laws of the road and are monitored by a video recording device called “Netradyne” that communicates to an app “Mentor” on a cell phone tracking your driving habits and making sure you are operating the vehicle in a safe manner.
As a U.S Army Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear & Explosive Specialist I was trained to identify, train and help protect soldiers from any CBRNE threats before, during, and after situations. I had my own office I managed personally, where I stored and maintained most of my detection and protective equipment which was used to supply soldiers in my organization for training and real world scenarios. I stayed up to date with my paperwork which included maintenance paperwork, records, technical manuals, soldier information, and equipment sign out to ensure every piece of equipment was accounted for and ready for use. I did this all whilst being part of a group or section called “S3” which was in charge of 24 hour tactical field operations overseeing all Mechanical Infantry Tank companies during training operations. We were tasked with setting up, maintaining, moving and defending the Tactical Operations Center where my organizations highest ranking officers worked to ensure effective and organized operations. In the National Guard I continue my duties as a CBRNE Specialist except my additional duties are assisting and aiding my unit's Logistics Sargeant. We provided the unit's soldiers with essential life sustaining nourishment, equipment, records, etc. In addition to this I support the CBRNE Enhanced Response Force Package (CERF-P). This Colorado Team is responsible for responding to a Mass Casualty Event, assisting in Search and Rescue Procedures, Decontamination of Casualties if needed, Providing Emergency Life Saving and Urgent Medical Care, and Logistically Supporting this Mission.
