    At Youth Conservation Crew, as a member of the trail crew, I learned how to clear and level surfaces that were unevenly structured on trails I was able to push wagons full of crushed industrial gravel roughly 4-5 km on uneven trails in hot and humid weathers in different Portland parks Had to dig holes on sides of trails to put up fences to ensure safety amongst penetrations who walk in parks

    As a Seasonal Maintenance Worker, I had to rake, sweep, and shovel debris and trash in paved surfaces, paths, walks, curbs, public in different locations I was assigned to with a supervisor

    I operated a variety of hand-held power tools (weed whacker, blower, saws) to clear out invasive plant species such as Himalayan Blackberries, Tree of Heaven Used a blower to blow piles of leaves surrounding public spaces

    I've played drums for 5 years in both Shanghai and Portland I am skilled playing snare drums, wooden and stone mallets, timpani, wind chimes, timpani, base drum, triangles, cowbells, bongos, congos, and of course the drum set I carried and played the bass drum with the Cleveland High School marching band in downtown Portland for an event called The Starlight Marching Parade, had a lot of fun doing that

    About five months ago, I started to become more creative and skilled at cooking Despite myself not taken a cooking course, I still trust that my creativity towards cooking can take me where I desire I am big on spices, always add different types of spices in foods

    I am skilled cutting fruits, learned how to cut complex fruits such Pineapple, Pomelo, Pomegranate, etc I am skilled at learning how to blend fruits in a fruit blender A big PNW and exotic fruit lover and have been passionate about fruits for about two years and still enjoy learning

Interests

  • Gym Workouts: Been staying in great shape, been going to the gym often (roughly 4 times per week)
  • Cooking: Recently, in the last three to four months I became more passionate about cooking I'm big on spices and love using different kinds spices when cooking
  • Gardening: I enjoy growing exotic fruits, it's been a big passion of mine I've been studying different types of exotic fruits and how they can be grown
  • Woodworking: I've taken a course of woodworking in CHS, which I gained decent knowledge on basic methods of crafting handy wood sculptures
  • Enjoy hobbies that combine physical activity with outdoor exploration: Love playing frisbee hike, shoot hoops, botanize, and walk in parks
  • I like trying new recipes and food trends: For someone with and international taste, I love trying new foods globally
  • Playing Sports: Love playing ultimate frisbee, basketball
  • Mindfulness Practices: I do meditate often, especially when I feel that I need a quite place to sit and calm my mind
  • Team Sports: Played Portland State Ultimate for five years, four years of basketball and rugby in Shanghai Community International School, and four years of competitive basketball in Active Kids Select Shanghai
  • Photography: I've taken a course on intro to photography and gained skills learning different photography terminology and how to take different kinds of photos
