API 510 Inspector involved with new construction of boilers. // Chevron, El Segundo And Utah on Various Shutdowns and projects. // Shell- Martinez, FCC and Flexi-Coker shutdowns. // Marathon-Carson, SRU, Crude, and Coker shutdowns. // San Diego Gas & Electric, Welding Inspector. And many more.
• Worked alongside knowledgeable senior inspectors and engaged with mechanical engineers with trouble-shooting and solutions of complex equipment.
• Currently At Valero Benicia performing run and maintain of four different unites involving repairs and maintenance and planning NDE and shutdowns.

• Los Angeles regional senior inspector for various aerospace and government facilities across the country that utilized high pressure and cryogenic equipment requiring scheduled inspection.
• Duties included creating and expediting inspection plans and reviewing final data. Performed external and internal visual inspection of high pressure multi-layered and cryogenic vessels. Generated inspection data reports, photographs, and repair recommendations. Development and performance of Pneumatic Testing of vessels for recertification. Job walks with clients regarding inspection needs and manpower. Performed API visual and standard NDE on routine bases. Infrared and vacuum testing of cryogenic vessels. Vandenberg AFB, Edwards AFB, Stennis Space Center and Arnold Air Force Bases. Visual and NDE inspection of pressure retaining piping and vessels. Inputting data and build equipment files for future reference.

Scheduled necessary NDT examiners, review inspection reports and provided final API Inspection supports.

• Evaluated thickness measurements, corrosion rates, establish inspection intervals; create Inspections reports and subsequently updated inspection tracking database. Shutdown coordinator position during various refinery turnarounds as well as new construction. Worked alongside maintenance company providing repair inspections, reports, witnessing hydro, signing off on repairs and walking down new piping equipment for final package delivery.
• Held daily safety meetings with crews and attended daily project meetings. Performed various NDE inspections methods such as RT,UT,MT, and PT for run and maintain at various facilities.

• Performed in-service and new construction NDE inspection at a nested position at oil Valero refinery in Los Angeles.
• Assured schematic drawings were updated after changes or repairs.
• Performed UT, MT, PT and Positive Material Identification (PMI) of all incoming alloy materials. Hardness testing of 9 chrome pipe after completed welds. Routine radiography of on-line pipe circuits and of new construction or repaired welds. Performed magnetic flux examination (MFE) and leak testing of storage tank floors. Walked down new piping systems and generated isometric field drawings.

• Assisted and performed numerous methods of NDE on equipment in accordance with ASME Section V (Nondestructive Examination) in the petroleum, chemical, energy, and fabrication industries.
• Methods consisted of ultrasonic thickness measurements, magnetic particle testing, and dye penetrant testing. These NDE methods were performed on equipment such as pressure vessels, piping, heat exchangers, boiler tubes, and attachment welds to reassure their continued service. Generated detailed inspection reports with field sketches. All performed in oil refineries settings.
