Employment at Leonardo Helicopters – Tool Room Technician.

In my position within the Tool Room at Leonardo Helicopters, I am responsible for the management, organization, and efficient distribution of specialized tools and equipment to technicians and mechanics involved in the maintenance, assembly, and repair of helicopters.
My responsibilities include:

• Accurate tool distribution: I deliver the required tools to mechanics, ensuring they are in optimal condition and calibrated, when necessary.
• Inventory control: I maintain detailed records of tool check-ins and check-outs, monitor stock levels, and handle replenishment as needed.
• Tool maintenance and cleaning: I inspect the condition of tools after each use, clean them properly, store them, and report any damage or need for replacement.
• Technical support: I work closely with the maintenance teams to ensure they have the right equipment readily available, enhancing both efficiency and safety within the hangars.
• Compliance with aviation safety standards: I strictly follow aviation industry protocols regarding the handling of critical tools in controlled environments.

• Monitors stock levels to prevent shortages in inventory
• Conduct physical inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies
• Order copy machines in warehouse while utilizing Manhattan warehouse management systems

• Participated in regular team meetings, contributing to the development of new strategies for warehouse efficiency and productivity.
• Operated various types of material handling equipment safely including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move heavy loads throughout the warehouse facility.
• Reduced product damages with proper handling techniques and training for warehouse staff.
• Loaded, unloaded, and moved material to and from storage and production areas.

• Picked, packed, and shipped customer orders both accurately and efficiently
