Work History

RV Salesman

OptimumRV
12.2020 - 05.2022

This is where my journey began. Before this job I was doing Uber Eats waiting to go to the military to make something out of my life but one day I made an Uber Eats delivery to OptimumRV in Ocala, Florida, and out of all the people that came to pick up the food from me it was the finance director and he chose to offer me a job right then and there. During my first year working there, I made $75k gross and sold 14 units on my best month. This job truly changed my life for the better and words cannot do justice to how grateful I am for this opportunity. I learned so many things from the all managers and other salespeople around me to not only become a good salesperson but to become a better person as well.

Flipping RVs

Self Employed
05.2022 - 11.2022

With the money I had saved up from working at OptimumRV and still living with my parents, I decided to buy and sell a few campers on my own and it went very well. It helped me gain experience, understand another form of income, and see another side of the RV industry.

RV Salesman

Camping World
11.2022 - 04.2023

I wanted to gain a different perspective on how another RV dealership operates so I went to Camping World. After a couple of months of working as a salesman, I felt compelled to go into the service side of things. At first, since I had no experience I offered the GM to work for free and shadow some of the technicians but he said he would send me to Marion, NC instead and pay for my schooling to be an RV tech at Camping World, the service manager agreed. After waiting for two months the service manager backed out and said he couldn't send me anymore so I left to create my own path.

I still had some money saved up from flipping RVs so I decided to pay for my own schooling. I packed my things and drove 16 hours to go to RVTI in Elkhart, Indiana. I received my level 2 certification and made amazing connections with my fellow students and teachers. Through one of my teachers, Tyson Watkins I was able to get a job at LazyDaysRV as a PDI technician, and through one of my other teachers, Bill Stewart I was able to receive life-changing advice

PDI Technician

LazyDaysRV
08.2023 - 09.2023

I worked here for a month and was able to put into practice some of the things I learned at RVTI. My service manager called me into his office one day and told me that it wasn't working out and I had to go. He told me that I have the drive and my work ethic is good but he said he had a meeting with corporate that morning and they had to let go of people. It was unfortunate because for the vast majority of the month, I was shadowing other technicians so I felt like I didn't have a chance to prove my worth but I'm looking forward to working hard in the next job to prove myself
