• Independently perform and document all tasks and procedures including phlebotomy, specimen collection, waived testing, and processing of specimens according to established policies and protocols while maintaining accuracy in all job functions.

• Proactively assist co-workers with challenging procedures and manage heavy workloads to ensure seamless operations and high- quality patient care

• Inventory and maintain supplies according to established PAR levels, replenishing used items during shifts to ensure adequate stock for the next shift, and routinely check expiration dates to ensure all supplies are current and safe for use.

• Provide mentorship and training to new staff, enhancing team performance and patient care standards

• Labeled transfer tubes and followed exact directions for handling and storing specimens for transport.
• Enhanced patient experience through compassionate care and communication during blood draw procedures.
• Maintained a high level of accuracy in labeling and tracking specimens, ensuring proper testing and timely results.

• Ensure all drop off samples are registered, and properly labeled with the correct specimen tube/containers.

• Send routine specimens to the lab every 30 minutes. Send STAT specimens to the lab immediately.

• Perform diagnostic tests / EKG, Stress test on patients, monitoring patient blood pressure and collecting medical data for use by doctor

• Maintained a clean and organized workspace, ensuring the availability of necessary equipment for each procedure.
