Hostess/Busser/Food and Beverage Attendant
- Greet and escort guests to seating areas or waiting areas, furnish menus, and highlight daily specials.
- Deliver excellent customer service by being friendly and accommodating guest needs.
- Maintain cleanliness standards in the dining area, including wiping down tables and chairs between seatings.
- Ensure all dishes are served at the correct temperature and presentation.
- Take to-go orders from patrons by phone or online.
- Take beverage orders, and serve drinks during peak meal times.
- Remove trays and stack dishes for return to kitchen after finished meals.
- Stock customer service stations with paper products or beverage preparation items.
- Stock service stations with ice, napkins and straws.
- Ensure that all areas are properly sanitized at the end of each shift.
- Transport bus tubs and carts to and from the kitchen, facilitating effective dishwashing processes.
- Inspect restaurant prior to opening for cleanliness and proper set-up of tables, chairs and booths.
- Work in close collaboration with team members to ensure customers received high-quality service.
- Clean spills immediately using appropriate cleaning solutions, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Communicate with kitchen staff regarding any special orders or requests from guests.
- Perform closing duties such as resetting tables, and tidying service areas to prepare for the next day.
