• Review Estimates: The Construction Quality Control Analyst will review all estimates within 4 business hours of receipt.
• Monitor Estimate Quality: Consistency between offices for cover pages, organization & flow of estimates, note documentation, adherence to TPA guidelines.
• Make Changes to Estimates: The Construction Quality Control Analyst will be responsible for correcting estimates with minor changes to have them ready for submission to customer/client. Major changes will be referred to the Construction Estimator for correction.
• Mentor/Coach: The Construction Quality Control Analyst will need to mentor/coach all Construction Estimators on best practices in construction estimating including utilization of Macros to increase efficiency of estimate creation.
• Organization: It is the responsibility of the Construction Quality Control Analyst to stay organized and up to date on the Team Wall Standard Operating Processes, as well as departmental progress and updates.
• Technology: The Construction Quality Control Analyst should understand all necessary applications to a level of mastery. Ensure all systems are operational and reach out to appropriate parties to troubleshoot on behalf of the team if not.
• NAPA, CAPA, and TPA: Keep up to date on all corporate NAPA and CAPA program requirements along with any TPA requirements to ensure you are fully trained on the guidelines and regulations and regularly put them into practice through accurate estimates resulting in high Audit Scores.
Weekly
• Team Meetings: The Construction Quality Control Analyst will support the Construction Estimating Manager by preparing collected data in reports for weekly team meetings where the information will be reviewed within the team. Actively engage and contribute to meeting.
• Identify Trends: The Construction Quality Control Analyst will help to identify trends within the estimating departments and make recommendations.
• Bi-Weekly One-on-One Meetings – Direct Leader: Participate in bi-weekly meetings with direct leader (Construction Estimating Manager). Come to meeting prepared for the agenda set, decisions you need help with, and items where you need support from your leader.
• TPA Scorecard: The Construction Quality Control Analyst should review the Weekly TPA Scorecards that are issued for the local offices for details pertaining to any TPA jobs in ‘Compliance and Estimate’ progress status.
• Construction Estimator Scorecards: The Construction Quality Control Analyst will review the weekly Construction Estimator scorecards to identify areas of training opportunity and betterment for individual team members
• Education: Time should be set aside every week for consistent and intentional learning. Whether it be through SERVPRO U courses, time spent learning applications to a level of mastery, time improving and growing estimating knowledge and skills, or time on production job sites. There should always be a portion of the week devoted to bettering industry, company, technology, and career knowledge
