Religious Affiliation

I have been part of the Episcopal Church since I was born. Since my freshman year, I have been volunteering with the IHN which helps bring food, living spaces, as well as entertainment for the kids., Starting in third grade, I became an Acolyte. I was the youngest acolyte in the history of our Episocpal Church and I still serve when my busy work schedule allows. I got confirmed when I was a sophomore, and took religious classes twice a week.

Honors Achievements Community Service

  • Dean's List, I have had a 4.0 GPA since my freshman year at UMass and have been on the dean's list every semester.
  • Leadership Summits, I have been invited to four leadership summits due to my involvement in the school, as well as my ability to manage my many extracurricular activities with my schoolwork.
  • Internship: Floral Street School Fourth Grade Teaching Asst., I went to my old elementary school to help tutor fourth graders in math and writing with Laura Spangenburg.
  • Student Govt./Politics: Class Marshal, As Class Marshal, I am involved in leading the class in events, and fundraisers as well as graduation and other important milestones during our senior year. At graduation, I lead my class of 507 students into the graduation hall, so they're ready to commence into graduation.
  • Community Service (Volunteer): Leader in Training at Camp Woodhaven, I volunteered for two full summers at a Christian day camp in West Boylston working with children.
  • Mentor Volunteer Program, I went into a freshman classroom once a week to try and get them acclimated with the school, as well as participating in events, sports, and clubs.
  • Humans Of Shrewsbury, The Humans of Shrewsbury Club is an organization that is meant to reach out to the community, and share their stories with others. I was also to talk to people that had inspirational stories, and share them with others to gain more knowledge about our town, and the people in it.
