I work at Victory as a front desk and a triage volunteer. I would help out at the front desk checking patients in, scheduling, and doing any routine maintenance around the office for whoever needed it. They later asked me to be a triage volunteer and so I started working as a triage volunteer where I took patients back and took their basic vitals and prepared them to see the doctor. I got to experience what it was like to be in the room with patients and how real clinic operations undergo. We would not only triage them but we also aided in cleanup and patient filing which gave me a good background in the little details that go into running a successful clinic. Working at the front desk and in the back triaging allowed me to see how a clinic operates as a whole and how to make sure patients and employees are taken care of.
