Achievement

Successfully implemented an efficient and effective system that manages water flow, prevents flooding, improves water quality, and supports sustainable land use.

By conducting detailed topographic surveys that identify natural drainage patterns, culverts, and other infrastructure, and calculated the required capacity of the systems to handle anticipated water volumes.

Responsibilities

• Compiled information necessary to stake projects for construction using engineering plans.
• Supervised surveying the land and designing an efficient drainage system and helps in mitigating the risks associated with excessive water accumulation.
• Oversees the construction to ensure compliance with the plans and specification.
• Collaborated with engineers, contractors and other professionals involved in the project to ensure that all aspects of the drainage system are properly executed.
• Conducted regular inspections to verify that the installed components align with the design and met contractual standards.
• Used the advanced total station and GPS receivers to measure and verify elevations, alignments and dimensions of drainage structures.
• Performed final as-built survey and documented the actual location and characteristics of all elements of the drainage system.
• Provided the accurate records for future reference, maintenance, and potential modifications or expansions.

Achievement

My achievement was the ability to provide accurate measurements, establish precise control points, determine optimal alignments, stake out the project on-site, and ensure compliance with legal requirements. My expertise and attention to detail contribute significantly to the success of the project.

Responsibilities

• Accurately determine the boundaries, contours, and topography of the land where the road and infrastructure will be built.
• use various tools and techniques such as GPS (Global Positioning System), total stations and laser scanners to gather precise data about the site, which was used by engineers, architects, and construction teams to design and plan the project effectively.
• Establish accurate control points throughout the construction site and ensure subsequent measurements and alignments are precise and consistent.
• Stake out the proposed road and infrastructure on the ground.
• Marking out the centerline of the road, setting benchmarks for elevation control, locating utility lines, and establishing property boundaries.
• Ensuring accurate measurements, proper alignment, and adherence to legal requirements.
• Reduces errors, avoids conflicts with existing structures or utilities, and ensures that the road and infrastructure are built according to the approved plans.

Project: Slab Track, Doha Metro Project

Achievement

Ability to provide accurate and precise data throughout the planning, design, and construction phases and ensures that the underground infrastructure is mapped correctly, minimized risks and facilitated the successful implementation of the project.

Responsibilities

• Used advanced technologies such as GPS (Global Positioning System), LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging), and total stations to accurately measure and map the project site.
• Create detailed topographic surveys that depict the existing features of the land, including buildings, roads, utilities, and natural elements like rivers or hills.
• Ensuring that the project is implemented according to plan.
• Establish control points on the ground using precise measurements and coordinates provided by geodetic networks. which serve as reference markers for all subsequent construction activities.
• 3D targets monitored – settlement point monitoring.
• Monitored the excavation process to ensure that tunnels are being dug at the correct depth and alignment.
• Tunnel network, TBM navigation, laser shifting, rings deformation, sliding rail fixing.
• Conducted as-built surveys once the construction is complete.

Project: Construction Kahramaa Substations and Cable Route in Duhail, Al Soudan and Al Sailiya

Achievement

Provided accurate boundary determination, conduct detailed topographic surveys, map utilities, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Mine expertise and precision significantly contribute to the successful completion of the project while ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to relevant standards.

Responsibilities

• Provided precise measurements and data to accurately determine the boundaries, topography, and other important aspects of the land where the substations was constructed.
• Located the utilities on the site plan, prevent accidental damage during construction activities.
• Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for obtaining necessary permits and approvals from local authorities, ensuring that the substations project adheres to zoning regulations, environmental guidelines, and other relevant laws.
• Contributed to the overall efficiency, safety, and effectiveness of the project.

Project: Multipurpose Hall at Al Sadd Sports Club Olympic Committee

Achievement

Produce detailed information (subsequently analyzed by planners, builders and cartographers).

Use a range of equipment to produce surveys such as Trimble GPS, Total Station, Laser Scanner and all types of Leveling machines.

Analyze information thoroughly before it is handed over to the professionals.

Measure the ground, including aspects such as small and large-scale distances, angles and elevations.

Gather data on the earth’s physical and man-made features through surveys.

Think creatively to resolve practical planning and development problems.

Interpret data using maps, charts and plans.

Responsibilities

• Setting out of Colum points and determination of differences in elevation according to plan using Total Station TC803 and Leveling Instrument NA30.
• Topographic and As-built surveying of the site.
• Detailing the longitudes and latitudes of important features and boundaries in survey areas.
• Adjusting surveying instrument to maintain their liable accuracy.

Project: Benin-Onitsha Integrated Power Project and IHE-UKWU 43.6km Road Network

Responsibilities

• Compiled measurement and marker data from plats and drawings using public records to determine geographical boundaries of land parcels and utility locations.
• Consulted public records and contacted previous owners to conduct research on ownership, usage and zoning history.
• Employed GPS technology to pinpoint baseline, meridian, tier and range coordinates defining boundaries of township residential lots.
• Reported on lakes, ponds, rivers and streams to identify navigable channels and recommend construction of piers, bridges and other structures.
• Setting out alignment and fixing top levels for several kilometers of road within and outside Lake View phase ll.
• Read and used topographical data to complete analysis of land plots and roadways.
