SResponsible for overseeing all aspects of packaging materials for two production facilities. Additionally, I work closely with with Braga Fresh Harkins, Braga Fresh Gonzales #2 and Braga Fresh King City due packaging storage capacity constraints. Other job responsibilities include:

• Overseeing and directing of 10 forklift drivers between the two sites.
• Handling of over 500 packaging Sku’s and over 50 condiment (Masterpack) Sku’s.
• Order creation for both facilities including boxes (carton), pallets and miscellaneous items using Famous ERP software.
• Optimize schedules and workflows to minimize labor costs and increase efficiency
• Assist with quality and production process improvements to support new packaging initiatives
• Set up and coordinate any necessary maintenance/repair for work machinery
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly and year end inventory counts
• Conduct monthly safety meetings with new and existing employees.
• Keep team in line with productivity targets and safety standards.

My main responsibility as packaging manager was to receive all packaging deliveries in a timely manner making sure they are accurately accounted for and dispersed. This allowed the company to be appropriately stocked, aiding in the successful and timely fulfillment of orders. Other responsibilities included:

• Receiving all incoming packaging deliveries including, but not limited to, film, trays, cardboard, labels, and Master packs.
• Creating and closing purchase orders for our material washing program.
• Interviewing, hiring and training all new employees joining the department. Trained employees on standard operating procedures and new policies.
• Responsible for all daily, weekly, monthly and year end inventory counts.
• Oversaw incoming packaging products and monitored quality of outgoing products to comply with specifications.

• Responsible for the night shift Shipping Department including the supervision of 20 employees.
• Collaborated with sales, production truck dispatchers, and provided customer service to company clients.
• Responsible for hourly payroll management and employee scheduling.
• Inspected work areas to keep free of hazards and maintain proper function of safety equipment. Made sure sure employees followed federal OSHA regulations and other safety requirements.
• Expedited orders as necessary and kept track of available inventory, requesting product as needed.
• I scheduled and conducted any necessary meetings, distributed payroll checks, and made sure all work was completed in a timely manner without compromising quality control.
• Administrative work such as data entry in company database, filing, and continual phone communication

• Provided customer service and sales to the International and Government accounts by responding to calls, emails, faxes, and product inquiries in a timely manner
• Worked with departments such as special orders, Accounts management, Accounts receivable and the warehouse as needed
• Expedited orders and follow up on tracking and / billing
• Assisted with quotes and provided support in absence of territory managers.
