  • Operated a double tractor trailer truck 300+ miles daily

  • I would then fill up my truck with the material, take it to that destination that was requested, drop my material into the correct bay making sure not to cross contaminate, and repeat that until my day was complete.

Warehouse / Trainer

Target
03.2018 - 04.2022
  • Receiving - Receive incoming product by hand or by equipment (Forklift), I would build pallets with product that was unloaded, scan items confirm quantity, print labels and stage pallets for other departments to put away
  • Mezzanine Operator (Mezz) - I was in charge of maintaining the Mezz throughout the warehouse by making sure the flow was operating correctly making sure items were being diverted into the correct trailers, and constantly checking the computer system to confirm everything was running
  • Closer - In charge of Training new temporary workers making sure they are working safely and up to standard by loading trailers by hand, I would then confirm the trucks were loaded safely and correctly before sealing each truck before it's moved to another distribution center
  • Inventory - Would assist the warehouse in inventory by performing audits on products that was incoming, cycle counts to ensure all inventory was correct, open boxes and verify that product matched what was received
  • Train - I would train new employees to the department and make sure they were up to speed and in full understanding with Target's expectations, I would also train employees that were not certified on forklifts or pallet jacks to get certified and be able to operate on said equipment
  • Most of my job at Target was running the Mezz, but I was very useful in any area of Inbound and Outbound
  • I would operate a forklift 90% of the day and a chariot the other 10% to get to certain areas in a safe and timely matter
  • I was available for any task that my manager would need me, which led me to becoming a trainer to showing new employees to the department how Inbound and Outbound should be ran.
