• Install and configure new devices and system components.
• Efficiently troubleshoot TSN fiber-optic connections resulting in quicker restoration of service for missions.
• Install and repair network cabling, hardware, software and phone systems to maximize operational efficiency.
• Monitor and perform maintenance on telecommunications systems such as switches, quintrons, david clarks and belt packs to facilitate optimal performance on WSMR NET

• In the beginning of my career in the Cable Industry, June 2006 as an Installation Technician for Charter Communications and Baja Broadband, now TDS Telecom, I consistently held the highest installation completions rating for our company for the New Mexico chapter
• I quickly moved up to Service Technician, where I was handling large amounts of service calls, due to the company entering a complete plant rebuild and upgrade from a 550mHz system to a 1gb system after Baja Broadband purchased Charter Communications
• My former position with the company as a System Technician required me to take on a broad amount of responsibilities to include: locating noise in the plant, plant maintenance, pole transfers that require direct communication and rapport with PNM, clearing PNM's pole transfer tickets sent to me via email
• Running new and or replacing strand, down guys, anchor installation and on occasion I oversee pole replacements for power supplies
• I call in locates for anchors and cable replacements while still resolving customer issues on a personal level
• I work well alone and with other technicians
• Not only did my eagerness to learn, good work ethic and reliability result in my promotions, but my ability to learn quickly and adapt to any given situation and task was influential as well.

• Supervised a roofing crew on a daily basis
• Proficient in supervising a roofing crew and using multiple tools.

• Assisted Millwrights in changing out machine equipment that was used for the day to day production of cores for the bell end of large cast iron pipe.
