Project 1:

• Designed, Optimized and executed molecular cloning for recombinant expression of Ostrinia nubilalis pheromone-binding protein 2 (OnubPBP2) in E-Coli.
• Purified proteins using (AKTA FPLC) DEAE anion exchange chromatography and size-exclusion chromatography (SEC) for high-purity yield
• Performed 3D structural determination using solution-state NMR spectroscopy with advanced 2D and 3D experiments like backbone, side chain and NOESY.
• Analyzed secondary structure and protein stability using circular dichroism (CD) and ligand-binding properties with fluorescence spectroscopy.
• Investigated pH-dependent conformational changes in OnubPBP2 through NMR pH titration studies, identifying functional and structural shifts.
• Validated protein mass and size using SDS-PAGE, ELISA, SAXS and MALDI-TOF spectroscopy, ensuring structural integrity.

Project 2:

• Developed and optimized HEK293 mammalian cell culture models to study CTRP6 expression, stability, and functional interactions in metabolic disease pathways.
• Designed high-throughput receptor-ligand binding assays to evaluate CTRP6 signaling and metabolic regulation.
• Conducted transient transfection, media optimization, and process control strategies for mammalian cell- based protein production.

• Taught and supervised General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry laboratory sessions for 5 years ensuring adherence to safety protocols
