At Annie's Soda Saloon I learned a variety different skills, from being a dishwasher to being the interim manager. I was a leader at Annie's, our boss relied on me to make lunch schedules, take inventory on different paninis and serve the food. Being a tourist destination and a popular spot in Cody I needed to use my spanish speaking skills in a few different situations. I also faced and dealt with challenges like unsatisfied customers, people with hearing disabilities and people who only spoke spanish. I learned teamwork and how to work as a team during our lunch rushes of customers, also things like how to rotate who's turn to do the dishes.

I worked alongside Dr. Sidor a very experienced licensed Pediatrician, where I observed many routine check-ups for children. I learned about many childhood conditions, illness, congenital defects, and much more. He introduced me to the Business Administration (paperwork/desk) side of being a Physician as well. I interacted with Physicians, Nurses, Receptionists, and patients.

I shadowed in Radiology department of Cody Regional Health, where I followed Radiology Technologists to CT scans, MRI scans, Emergency Room for portable X-rays, Orthopedic surgery for C-arm X-Rays, Nuclear radiology (injections for cancer treatment), and basic procedures. I had a well rounded experience and was introduced to lots of modern technology in the medical field.
