While serving on board the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson I was the Section Leader for Charlie Section of the ship's security department

• The primary duties of a Section Leader are certifying all training, administrative and medical requirements are met by over 40 sailors to ensure the operational readiness of the section in case of inspections or real-world circumstances. Participated in anti-terrorism measures by identifying potential threats and taking appropriate action to mitigate risk.
