avid day hiker, love to cook, currently studying Portuguese and Stoic philosophy.
I moved to Colorado from Georgia to escape punishing heat where I could not do the hiking that I love. I'm a short range hiker (maximum 8 miles). I love to see new places and get away from it all. I've traveled extensively in the U.S. but am ready for new adventures around the world. I'm passionate about traveling. I have taken an interest in learning a new language, to keep my brain sharp and active. I am not religious but I am spiritual and nothing creates a greater feeling of peace than to be outside in nature. I am reading several books about stoic philosophy in an attempt to improve my quality of life.
