Responsible as the Unit Disciplinary Hearing Officer for the administration of the TDCJ offender Disciplinary Program on the Jester 1, Jester 3, Jester 4, Carol Vance, and Central units. As the Administrator, I used my administrative, technical review, and over 20 years of correctional security and administrative experience to successfully implement and follow established guidelines in assisting unit Wardens in the implementation of the TDCJ disciplinary program. These responsibilities have included the coordination and oversight of efforts required in providing Due Process hearings for offenders charged with rule violations and the maintenance of the Disciplinary Case Tracking System as well as the appropriate record keeping schedules for program files and archives. In this position, my primary role was that of adjudicator in hearing and settling issues by judicial procedure functioning as a judge, presiding over administrative hearings, and as jury. In this position, I relied on my experience as a TDCJ Operational Review Sergeant and U.S. Army Personnel NCO to complete and keep accurate records needed for offender appeals, administrative reviews, grievance procedures, plaintiff attorneys, Attorney General staff, Inspector General's office, and courts.

Additionally, I was responsible for the personnel activities including performance evaluations, employee disciplinary, and time keeping.
