Provided care to a wide variety of patients, ranging from routine orthopedic surgeries to critically ill patients requiring management of vasoactive medications and ventilatory support. I interact well with my patients and their families and with my co-workers and providers. My time at the Great Falls Clinic has seen considerable growth in the organization and an increase in the complexity and acuity of our patients.

ICU supervisor/charge nurse, responsible for the daily operations of a combined cardiac/neuro/med-surg ICU. In addition to my charge nurse duties I responded to all Rapid Response or Code Blue pages. I also was frequently at the bedside caring for critically ill patients, including cardiac and neurosurgery, trauma, DKA, renal failure and a wide variety of other conditions.

Care of cardiac and cardiovascular surgery patients including CABG, valve replacement, aortic aneurism repair, carotid endartarectomy, post cardiac cath and patients requiring mechanical ventilation, inotropic support, IABP and CRRT. Charge nurse duties.

Cared for patients in a six bed ICU. Stabilized and transferred criticall ill patients to a higher level of care. Cared for CHF, COPD, drug overdoses and other moderate acuity patients on daily basis. Responded to Code Blue and Code Trauma.

Nurse in busy high acuity cardiac intensive care unit. Care of wide variety of surgical patients including CABG, Valve replacement, aneurism repairs and heart and lung transplants. Care of cardio-myopathy and pre-transplant patients. Management of patients on vasoactive drips, mechanical ventilation, intra-aortic balloon pumps and ventricular support devices. Charge nurse after 1996.
