I am a quick hands on learner. I am a responsible and dedicated worker.
I have worked at PPF for the past 8 years. I help load seed and chemicals for planting season. I am now a lead in the gin where I run multiple machines and do maintenance to keep everything running.
I helped the fitters fit pipe for the ExxonMobil plant we were building. In that time I ran equipment like jlg lifts from 15 ft to 125 ft. We worked long hrs and kept everything moving forward. I worked as a tool man as well there checking out tools to our crew and making sure we had everything to do our job.
I started out as a cam 1 machinist, where I loaded programs. I learned how to do setups and run parts. Before the layoff i was a cam 3. I worked there 8.5 years.
I had a lead position where I went to meetings with the supervisors and then held meetings to let my crew know what we were running that day. I also did maintenance on machines as needed.
I am a very fast learner with whatever is put in front of me I am a hands on person and learn quicker and faster when I do things by hand I can run lifts from 40 ft to 125 ft and I'm not afraid of heights I have being doing maintenance for the past 6 years where I work at now repairing almost anything we need repaired
