Hi, I’m

Wendi Armstrong

Teacher

The real test is not whether you avoid this failure, because you won't.It's whether you let it harden or shame you into inaction, or whether you learn from it; whether you choose to persevere.

Summary

My diverse skills in teaching and security create an incredible mix for any classroom whether it is alternative or general education. I have 15+ years worth of experience in teaching, 10 of which have been in alternative schools. During those 10 years I have taught 5 years at a pregnant and parenting secondary school and 5 years at an elementary school for children third partied out of their home schools. I very much enjoy working in alternative settings and my time spent as a level 2 security guard will only enhance my ability in this setting. Also both photography and yearbook are a business and hobby of mine; it would be very satisfying to work in a high school as the teacher/sponsor for both of these classes.
