• Recovered surgical patients from anesthesia, focusing on airway first, then managing their pain while ensuring their surgical site is intact and neuro and cardio function remains intact.

• Nights. Receiving any emergency cases for surgery or ENDO. They may be discharged home from Phase 2 or be admitted if bed available. We held ICU patients if after surgery there were no beds available.
• Backup for the OR if help was needed in a room.
• At 5am PACU set up for the first 8 preop patients, 4 of which were blocks with sedation. We each took a block patient every day. AM start time was 0730.
• Preop/Recover endoscopy patients.
• Administered critical care interventions for pediatric patients in high-acuity environments.
