I am writing to apply forOrthodontist Assistant position at your respected office. As someone who is responsible and intuitive, I have a strong talent for anticipating patients’ needs and creating a comfortable dental environment. As a customer service agent at different establishments such as Oral surgery assistant was given the opportunity to serve a number of different patients with different cultural backgrounds and provide them with a welcoming environment and great customer service. Here, I developed adaptability skills as each request can change. This translates well in the dental environment so I can assist when needed with flexibility. As a Dental Assisting, I have excelled in skills including orthodontics, sealants, coronal polishing, temporary crowns and bridges, charting and taking x-rays. Active listening and comprehension are skills necessary to guide and motivate myself to succeed. My success in class has led me to assist other Dental Assisting students with skills including placing x-rays in the correct position. Experiences of communicating with customers, instructors, patients, and doctors has benefitted me as I feel comfortable communicating with individuals of different levels in different environments and capacities. The skills I possess such as intuition, familiarity, and skills obtained from class will guide me to become a successful Dental Assistant and I hope to have an opportunity to prove that to you. This position will help me grow and apply skills that I have developed throughout my past experiences and my current academic courses. Thank you for your time and consideration.
