I have worked in a residential substance use facility for over 14 years, gaining extensive experience with individuals facing substance use and complex mental health conditions, including bipolar disorder and schizoaffective disorder. I have experience in supporting individuals interested in medically assisted treatment and have implemented referrals and education material. My expertise in motivational interviewing and de-escalation techniques allows me to calm individuals and ensure they receive proper support. When serving as a housing peer support it aided in expanding my skills in working with underserved populations. My passion is to meet individuals where they are, ensuring supportive, compassionate, and effective care. I am proficient in utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to enhance patient care and outcomes.
