  • Manage a remote recruiting department providing Information Technology (IT), Cyber Security, and Engineering resources for the Department of Defense (DoD) in CONUS (continental US) and OCONUS (outside continental US) locations.
  • Source and recruit top Cyber/IT/Engineering candidates for positions requiring TS SCI, Top Secret, and Secret level clearances.
  • Positions include Computer Security Systems Engineer, Systems Administrator, Information Assurance Manager and Analyst, Telecommunications Engineer, Cyber Security Manager and Specialist, Penetration Tester, Cyber Threat Analyst, IT Systems Engineer, Civil Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Information Technology (IT) Specialist, and Help Desk Support.

  • Traveled monthly to facilities nationwide supporting various government contracts to conduct surge hiring events, management training, and to strategize and establish recruitment plans with program site directors.
  • Sourced and booked event locations, researched and selected vendors, and calculated even metrics such as number of interviews needed to hit hire goal, supplies needed, number of days needed for event, average interview times, and budget needed (including travel expenses.).

Accomplishments

  • Lead mass scale and surge recruiting events on a national level that resulted in between 100 to 1300 hires per location in timeframes from 1-5 days.
  • Selected as the mentor and lead for recruiters supporting the CMS ACA team.
