• Outbound Operations Manager creating daily operational plans for 40-60 full time warehouse team members that align with performance and budget goals.

• Responsible for the management of station actives and operations to ensure aircraft movement, station activity, passenger and ramp handling, loading/unloading of aircraft and cargo handling meet Company and government requirements and safety regulations.
• Supported launch of 2 brand new facilities (MSP / ATL) and operational development at RFD and ILN.
• Monitors station support contracts to ensure vendors are complying with contract provisions and service level agreements.
• Responsible for station compliance of safety regulations and requirements pertaining to the station, aircraft, facilities, equipment and personal.
• Follow and promote the Company's Safety Management System (SMS) process for identifications of hazards and analysis of mitigating risks.
• Interacts with vendors to ensure proper training in compliance with company requirements and procedures.
• Meets with customers and vendors on a regular basis to discuss potential problem areas and the entire scope of the Company. Resolves station related problems arising from vendors, crews, hotels, catering, maintenance, fuellers, ground handlers or customers.
• Interfaces with local airport authorities to ensure company compliance with all local policies including compliance with local reporting requirements.
• Responsible for Atlas Air Station Emergency Response Plan. Conduct local drills with supervisors and staff. MSP Active Threat Training.
• Participate in budgeting process and ensure operations are conducted within that budget. Develop and maintain programs for reducing costs of station operations.
• Responsible for achieving all ground operations and corporate goals related to performance, safety, service and regulatory compliance.
• Oversight of daily operations to include vendor operations contracted by Atlas Air and customers of Atlas ACMI flights.
• Ensures proper Atlas Air and FAA handling procedures are used in the performance of all duties.
• Coordinate and supervise all cargo related functions associated with handling the flight.
• Identify potential problems as they develop and work with Station Manager or Regional Manager to reach resolutions.
• Travel to off-line stations to supervise duties relating to passenger handling, baggage and cargo loading, servicing of aircraft, catering, and operational integrity.
• Ensure third-party handling services meet company and government policies and regulations.
• Ensure HAZMAT and Live Animals are handled correctly, including loading and international transit documentation.
• Compiles necessary information to determine actual payload and execute Weight and Balance of Passenger B767 and B747 aircraft.
• Acting Ground Security Coordinator (GSC) on duty.
• Knowledge of Part 139 Airport Certification/ Advisory Circulars/ Airside Operations Protocols
• Work with Electronic Logging System (ELS) Geo and Tree to conduct Part 139 Inspections, issue (FCRs) and report wildlife activity
• Create and issue NOTAMs using the U.S. Digital NOTAM Manager for routine inspections, maintenance, ect.
• Preliminary training in the Runway Condition Assessment Matrix (RCAM) used to create Field Condition Reports
