Summary

Ambitious Computer Science student currently pivoting from a background in the auto industry into software development. I’ve found that diagnosing a rough engine and debugging a broken script actually require the exact same kind of logical breakdown, which made the transition feel really natural for me. Over the last year, I’ve been focused on building full-stack tools and Python scripts to automate business tasks and solve real problems. I’m a big believer in a 'get-it-done' mindset and I love building software that actually makes a difference in someone's day-to-day work.

  • System Diagnostics: I spend my days troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical systems. It’s basically "debugging" in the physical world—finding the root cause of a failure and implementing a permanent fix.
  • Workflow Optimization: I look for ways to make our shop run smoother. I actually realized our quoting process was slow, which is what inspired me to start coding my own estimation tools to automate the math.
  • Technical Documentation: I have to follow and maintain strict service records and technical manuals. This taught me the importance of clear documentation, which I now apply when I’m writing README files for my code.
  • Team Collaboration: I work in a high-pressure environment where communication is key to hitting deadlines. I’m used to explains technical "car stuff" to non-technical customers, which helps me explain my code to others, too, manage a team and talk to clients. Along with workflow, streamlined daily service schedules for a team of technicians. Technical Troubleshooting: Served as the final point of escalation for complex sensor calibrations (ADAS) and high-precision installations, ensuring 100% safety compliance.
