I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Statistics from Miami University (cum laude, University Honors) and earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry, graduating with Highest Distinction Honors, tied for first in my class. I spent over nine years in private practice, where I provided advanced clinical care while managing all aspects of business operations, including patient acquisition, treatment planning, and high-value case presentations—developing strong sales and communication skills in the process. Following my dental career, I transitioned into the mental health and addiction treatment field, driven by a deep interest in behavioral health and patient advocacy. I currently serve as Associate Director at BoardPrep Recovery Center, a dual-diagnosis facility in South Tampa, where I provide direct counseling services and contribute to treatment planning alongside a multidisciplinary team. I work with clients from diverse demographic and cultural backgrounds, using trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches. In this role and others, I have successfully applied my sales expertise to support client engagement, increase admissions, and foster trust in both clinical and outreach settings. My leadership responsibilities include program development, team collaboration, and quality improvement initiatives. I bring a unique combination of clinical experience, business acumen, and a proven ability to connect with clients and stakeholders alike. I am currently pursuing Certified Addiction Professional (CAP) accreditation through the Florida Certification Board. After receiving this certification, I intend on receiving my Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern Status.
I utilized and continued to develop my sales expertise to support client engagement, increase admissions, and foster trust in both clinical and outreach settings.
