Summary
I have worked nearly every position in our Company. For over 25 years I have completed several conventional bid projects, design/build projects and emergency repairs for the City of Youngstown. I am well versed in sanitary sewer installation and cast in place concrete. Furthermore, I have worked within Mill Creek Metroparks on sanitary sewer projects. This includes the Orchard Meadows project.
I have extensive knowledge of design build projects. The D/B projects were primally bridges with the exception to a type A emergency project with ODOT that entailed rerouting a trunk storm sewer along US 30 in East Liverpool.
Through education, field work, and open mindness I have successfully completed a wide variety of projects through a brod range of contracts.

As the president of Marucci and Gaffney Excavating Company, I manage nearly all aspects of construction and business management. This includes interaction with owners, engineers, bonding agents, project managers, trades leaders, and our workforce. Our work is based on competitive bidding. In a driven market we must be aggressive and stay profitable. To accomplish this, I work with our superintendents to work safely and as efficient as possible to provide the owner with a quality project and to stay within our budgets. This creates cost histories that are used by our estimators in providing the best value for the owner's investment.
