Throughout the past few years of coordination, teaching, pastoring, counseling, and a few other jobs, I have discovered that I am a great teacher who desires excellence in what I do. I am very adaptable to unexpected circumstances. I am a very convicted and believing individual who will commit to the task and job at hand. My yes means yes. I have many leadership and pastoral skills, simultaneously challenging others while making known that the process is patient.
This role consisted of coordinating retreats to where we would send teams into parishes to put on retreats. I worked a lot with the parish contacts and prepared the teams for the retreats. We have 8 sets of leads that I would help form and disciple to lead their teams of 10 college students. My co-lead and I put on the campus-wide formation for this ministry and I gave teaching throughout the whole semester to the CORE team. This job consisted of a lot of teaching on my part toward the team.
I served here as a missionary in the summers of each of these years. I was a counselor twice, walking alongside nine kids a week. Then I spent a summer on program staff, where I helped run activities, skits, lifeguarding, and teaching the kids how to pray. Then I served as a counseling lead, where I walked ministered to kids in great need every week. I also gave teaching and discipleship to all of the counselors throughout this summer.
